FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Congratulations! You’re almost ready for an amazing pole fitness class experience!
Please read the following items to answer some frequently asked questions about our studio.
How do I prepare for class?
We kindly ask that our attendees not wear lotion to class. The oils in the lotion make your skin extra slippery and can make the experience frustrating for you and your partner if you’re sharing a pole. Also we would ask that you “de-bling” before class as rings and bracelets might scratch our equipment. Eat a balanced meal and drink plenty of water 1-2 hours prior to class to ensure that you have enough energy. You may bring snacks, but please eat in our waiting room.
Do I need to be in shape before I go to class? I don’t have any upper body strength!
Pole fitness is for all fitness levels. The sooner you start the sooner you will achieve your fitness goals. Our beginning level classes cater to all abilities, and build strength through basic moves and practice. We believe that you can accomplish your goals, and you'll be flying in no time!
How much are your classes?
One drop in class at our studio is $25, and from there the sky is the limit! Please visit our Pricing page to learn more. To purchase a class and see our schedule, please proceed to our Mindbody site.
What type of classes do you offer? How do I know which one to take?
We offer classes for all skill levels. Please follow the link above to schedule a class, and you may view each of our class’ descriptions. Click on the class name that you wish to attend and read through the description. For beginners we recommend our Beginner Intro to Pole class on Tuesdays at 6pm!
What if I’m new to the studio, but not to pole?
Please use the class descriptions as a guideline. If you are practicing inversions, you may attend any class. If you are not inverting yet, we recommend trying Pole Fundamentals I to test your skills. Our instructors will let you know if you are ready for the next step.
I have never been to a pole class, what do I bring?
You will need shorts and a tank top to start. To perform particular moves on the pole we will need all the skin we can get! Also please feel free to bring plenty of water, heels if you have them, and grip aides of any kind (Dry Hands, Itac, Dew Point Pole, Mighty Grip, etc.).
Can men take pole class too?
Yes, we welcome everyone no matter your age (18+), shape, size or gender.
